We are a relatively new company established during the peak of the pandemic by Russell Martin an airline pilot for one of Canada’s major airlines. It has grown to include employees from within other professions and trades as the need arose. The company’s scope of work was widened to include products and services that St. John’s and surrounding areas were in desperate need of. The demand for our services has continued and we are growing to meet the demands as they evolve.

Certified HVAC/R Technician | $35/hr | Join Our Family-Run Team in St. John’s!
Are you a Certified HVAC/R Technician looking to join a company where your work actually matters? Tired of feeling like just another number? At YYT Safe Dryer Vents, we’re a small, family-run business with a big mission: protecting homes and families through HVAC health and safety.

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for someone special to grow with us.

What You’ll Do:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on residential HVAC and dryer vent systems

Assist with whole-home HVAC safety services and air quality solutions

Maintain meticulous job records and represent our brand with professionalism

Provide honest, friendly service that homeowners can trust

What You Bring:

Red Seal Certification in HVAC/R (or equivalent journeyman-level credentials)

A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Great communication skills and a team-first attitude

Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Willingness to grow with a tight-knit, community-driven company

What We Offer:

$35/hour starting wage

Monday to Friday schedule (occasional flexibility appreciated)

Company vehicle and tools provided
