1. Introduction

Welcome to YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. By scheduling and using our cleaning services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

2. Service Agreement

YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. provides professional cleaning services to improve efficiency and reduce fire hazards. While we take every precaution to deliver thorough and professional service, we cannot guarantee specific performance outcomes for your systems.

3. Homeowner Responsibility

While YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. makes every effort to reattach connections during service, it is ultimately the homeowner’s sole responsibility to inspect and ensure that all connections—including, but not limited to, the dryer hose, venting system, and external exhaust—are securely reattached and functioning properly before first use. This includes connections for standard and stackable washer/dryer units, which may require additional care. YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. advises all clients to follow the manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions for their specific appliance model. We are not liable for issues resulting from improper reconnections or unsafe equipment use following service.

4. Limitation of Liability

YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, such as improperly installed vents, unsecured drain hoses, faulty ductwork, or damaged appliances. This includes any issues related to stacked or wall-mounted washer/dryer units and rental or shared-use properties such as Airbnbs and timeshares.

If it is necessary to move appliances to access the work area, we will take reasonable care during the process. However, YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. is not responsible for any damage to flooring, including but not limited to scratches, dents, scuffs, or separation of vinyl, laminate, tile, or hardwood surfaces. It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any known vulnerabilities prior to service.

While best efforts are made, we are also not responsible for the dislodging of drain hoses, electrical cords, or other ancillary connections in the vicinity of the work area.

Our liability is limited strictly to the services performed. We are not liable for any consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, appliance malfunction, business interruption, or personal injury. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all appliance manufacturer requirements and safety guidelines.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Insufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the approved service quote.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, and e-transfers. Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees and collection efforts.

7. Warranty and Guarantee

We guarantee that all cleaning services will be performed professionally, with respect, and in accordance with industry standards. However, we do not guarantee performance improvements or long-term results, as these may vary depending on dryer usage, vent design, lint accumulation, or appliance condition. Clients are responsible for adhering to the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding appliance maintenance, venting specifications, and post-service use.

8. Access and Safety Requirements

Clients must ensure safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the dryer and vent system. If our technicians deem the area unsafe or inaccessible—including situations involving stacked appliances—we reserve the right to refuse service and reschedule at the client’s expense.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

YYT Safe Dryer Vents Inc. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
